Having Your Fist Baby and Your Pets

When your world is turned upside down, and you are running around the house like a chicken with it’s head cut off, getting everything together, and trying to get your wife out the door. The last thing that you are thinking about is the pets. If they are inside pets, then some planning needs to be done. Talk to your family, friends, and neighbors, to see who can help you out when the time comes. Most people are not going to say no to a pregnant woman’s husband of for the matter pregnant women, your wife could have greater success than you at this. First consult with your or her parents or siblings they will be more than happy to help. There also places where pet shops or pet careers that you can contact to keep your pets safe while you are gone.

Besides after labor you will actually have time to take care of them and reward for lost time. Here are some extra tips you can do to get your pets “baby ready”. If you have dog, carrying a baby doll around for about a month is probably a good idea. Get a CD with some crying on it and get the dog used to it. And when the baby is born, before your wife and baby come home, come home and give the dog a blanket or burp rag that the baby has used. This will help the dog get used to the smell of the baby. Cats don’t really care much about anybody other than themselves. Cats are naturally drawn to moving objects and warm things. Frequently cats will cuddle up next to the baby because of the warmth. So just try to keep the cat away from the baby as much as possible.

Congratulations you have made it through the first part, all leading up to this moment, now its time for the real test. The due date has come and you are on full alert. The baby will come out when she is good and ready, unless you have already booked its ticket on the C Section ride.

Then next part of this book will be kind of a mix of my own adventure and some things that I picked up along the way. Waiting is the hardest part and sometimes life will throw you a curve ball at you, and when it comes, all you can do is swing and hope for the best.

“3 Easy Ways to Get Your Dog to Stop Pulling on the Leash -

Dear Dog-Owner,

I can tell you’re taking me out for a walk because I hear
that familiar jingling of what you call a leash.

It’s probably the most exciting sound I hear all day so
you’ll have to excuse me if I get a bit impatient and
restless as you fasten the leash to my collar.

And yes, please forgive me if I charge out of the door and
begin dragging you down the street while you clasp onto dear
life holding the other end of the leash. You see… there
are certain things I need to do in the short amount of time
we’re outside and we’ve got to get moving fast! But before
we go, I’ll let you in on a couple of secrets…

Now, I shouldn’t be telling you this, because the next door
neighbor’s dog is going to be mighty upset if the word gets
out. So promise me you won’t mention it to him? Ok then.

There are three surefire things you can do right now to stop
your dog from “walking you” down the street instead of the
other way around…

First, hold the door open and then just let your dog pull
and strain against the leash until (s)he realizes that you
aren’t going to begin the walk until your dog settles down.
Now, it might take a while so just be patient.

Second, after placing the leash onto your dog’s collar, walk
him/her around your house, the back yard, the garage -
anywhere EXCEPT outside for a normal walk.

Third, there’s a little known fact that makes the first two
steps “stick” so that your dog learns to stop pulling on the
leash quickly and permanently. And you’ll be surprised when
you find out what it is.

It’s used by professional dog trainers all over and it’s
something they’ll charge you hundreds of dollars to learn.

The Director’s Chair Experience

Use Movie Magic to Design an Extraordinary Life Adventure
Do you know you are playing a part in a real movie?

It’s true. Your reality — how you perceive the world — is a series of events and circumstances that make up a living, breathing movie experience. Your internal filters determine the quality of this movie: your five senses, your intuition, your rules about what things mean, and the emotions you attach to those meanings. Combined, these distinctive filters define your life experience.

So, guess who sits in the Director’s Chair? You do! Do you want to live a heart-wrenching, Lifetime channel drama? Or, do you prefer a romantic, action/adventure?

Since you are the Director, and so fully in charge, there are no boundaries to designing your life movie. No budget. No critics. No pressure of generating box office ticket sales. Your experience is constrained only by your imagination of how extraordinary life can be.

The challenge comes when you are NOT consciously sitting in the Chair. You allow your movie to become a compilation of external events without any direction or purpose. Without “film consciousness,” you may create ongoing dramas, heart-breaking after-school specials, or even terrifying horror movies.

With film awareness, you can manifest an unrivaled adventure, a thrilling expedition and/or a romantic quest. If you haven’t already done so, start writing and developing a magical story. Be aware of your multi-faceted production and design an award-winning life. The following directorial components will assist you in this process:

Define your leading role. Every adventure needs a dynamic hero: Be the hero of your own story. Construct a powerful personal identity by deciding who you are right now and who you are committed to becoming.

Write your script. As you would in developing a screenplay, tell your story from start to finish. Highlight where the story begins and determine how it turns out. As Director, you control the level of excitement, fun, love, passion and adventure in your own life movie.

Select your cast of characters. Empowering support roles can lift the lead role to new heights, while unsupportive characters can literally destroy the hero. Who is in your cast right now? Do they help you grow? Constantly challenge you? Share both victories and setbacks? Or did you unconsciously select a cast that hinders your ability to design the life you desire?

Choose a theme song. Every hero needs a theme song. Find an emotionally powerful song to become a part of who you are. Just thinking about this song should transport you to a higher place. (Or get outrageous and create an entire soundtrack!)

Now it’s time to reclaim your seat in the Director’s Chair and orchestrate a masterful adventure. And … Action!

Happy Journeys!

Debt Advisers Comment on Importance of Pensions

Debt Advisers comment on importance of pensions

Responding to a recent report regarding the growing pensions divide in the UK, Debt Advisers Direct (www.debtadvisersdirect.co.uk) advised workers to ensure they are planning well financially for the future, and warned anyone approaching retirement with debts to take action as soon as possible.

The report from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) showed a growing gap in pensions contributions between the public and private sectors. Private sector membership of final-salary pension schemes - in which companies pay a percentage of the employee’s final salary throughout retirement - fell from 3 million in 2006 to 2.7 million in 2007.

Instead, many private sector employers are opting for money purchase schemes, in which workers pay into a retirement fund which is usually invested in the stock market. When the employee retires, the fund is used to buy an annuity - a financial product that provides an income for the rest of their life. The size of the pension depends on how well the retirement fund performs and on the annuity rates available at retirement.

The public sector, on the other hand, showed a rise from 5.1 million to 5.2 million members of final-salary pension schemes last year in 2007.

The Neuro-Science Of Losing The Weight You Hate And Keeping

The Neuro-Science Of Losing The Weight You Hate And Keeping It Off Past Summer

Are you one of the 90 million Americans who are currently on a diet? Do you lose weight only to gain every ounce of it back? Well you’re not alone.

The national center for health statistics suggests that over 64 % of Americans are overweight and that figure is growing every year. There are currently over 300 books on dieting and over 16,000 variations of diets from which to choose. People spend over $40 billion a year on every magic potion or pill that they think will help them lose the weight they hate. Unfortunately, 95% gain back all the weight only to once again look for the next hot new diet. John Assaraf, one of the world’s leading optimum performance experts, suggests we look at the cause of this epidemic instead of relying on diets and temporary weight loss tricks.

“People don’t understand how their brain functions and therefore gain all the weight they lose 99% of the time,” said John Assaraf. “To diet using will power and exercise is absolutely the worst way to take off the weight you hate, if you want to keep it off for good.”

Will power is a very short-term solution for weight loss since it is controlled by the conscious mind. The latest scientific research shows that the non-conscious, conditioned side of your personality controls five sixths of your behavior and therefore your long-term results.

This means that 83% of the time you are acting automatically at a non conscious level and explains why you regain all your weight back. For permanent weight loss, you must re- train the 5/6th your brain if you really want to keep it off.

AMYGDALA

A recent discovery has to do with your amygdala. This part of your brain doesn’t like change and will release neuro-transmitters anytime you try to change something in your life like your weight. It picks up any deviation from your normal weight and basically causes you to revert back to your old patterns of thoughts and behaviors. It works exactly like the thermostat in your home that automatically picks up any change in room temperature and then automatically corrects it. This explains why people on diets often go on eating binges even while they are on their diet.

Through the years we become conditioned to a certain internal “weight set point” Once this is done we don’t have to think about the day-to-day food intake and activities we need to do to maintain our internal image. This is exactly how we form our habits. Once any habit is ingrained in our brain we function automatically without thought to maintain that internal image. If you don’t like your current weight, you must break your old patterns and old conditioning at the non-conscious level or face the pain of the yoyo syndrome.

Your internal mental system operates exactly like the mechanism that keeps airplanes, missiles or boats on course once they have set their coordinates into the system.

The outer body is only an expression of the internal image. If you want to see permanent changes on the outside, you must re-train the mental image on the inside first.

The most recent research suggests that it takes about 30 days of everyday mental training to “re-train” the brain if you want long lasting and permanent weight loss. By doing a few simple visualization exercises seeing yourself at your perfect weight, you start to recondition your internal image and you begin to erase the old image.

The more you do this the faster you’ll see results. The good news is that you can’t get a brain hernia if you overdo it.

POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS

Another simple technique you can use is a written positive affirmation. For example, declare:

I now weigh xxxx.
My body fat is xxxxx.
I feel and look great
I am at my ideal and perfect weight now

If you repeat reading this and really seeing it on the screen of your mind for at least 30 days, you’ll have a far superior chance of keeping to your ideal weight. You can also cut out photos of the body type you like and paste your picture to it and review it as frequently as possible.

The reason for using present tense affirmations is simple. The non-conscious side of your brain does not know the difference between an actual event and a lie or an imagined one and, it also does not understand the future. Once it is conditioned through repetition and real life or imagined experiences, it will immediately make the outside match up with the internal image.

How to Have Your Greatest Orgasm — Ever

Multiple Orgasms! You’ve heard of them, probably. Wondered about them, maybe. Attempted them, never — most likely. And why not? If you can have one successful orgasm, you can have two or three or more. In fact, even if you have never been able to satisfactorily negotiate a single, you can still learn to have multiples.

In terms of orgasms, more is definitely better. Here’s why.

A single orgasm is usually reached in a matter of seconds or minutes, leaving little time for attending to the individual needs and fantasies of the partners involved. Multiple orgasms, by contrast, build slowly, allowing them to address a myriad of individual desires.

A single orgasm, riding the wave of naturally released sleep hormones, depletes a man’s energy and sends him straight into slumber mode. In multiple orgasms, the longer they last, the stronger the payoff, yet they still manage to re-energize mind, body and soul, allowing for more effective after-play and intimacy.

A single orgasm is known to come in a variety of intensities, from a mere fizzle to a firestorm. Multiples produce firestorms as a minimum and build up significantly from there.

A single orgasm leaves a man languishing for hours or even days, depending on age and state of health. With a multiple, he can be up and ready for an encore immediately thereafter.

A single orgasm is a nice thing to have when time is an issue or there are no alternatives, which clearly there are. Why so few choose to talk about it, let alone investigate, is puzzling. Is it so intimidating to the nature of the solution-seeking male that just because a task can be accomplished in a matter of seconds doesn’t mean it ought to be?

Let’s dispel the myths of irrational thinking right now with a few simple rules based on a deeply cherished secret. Follow them, practice them, and believe in them, and the greatest mind-blowing orgasms will become a permanent part of your vastly more glorious universe.

1.Know your body. Become intimately acquainted with those regions of flesh and sinew that awaken you sexually. Manipulate them with your hands, your mind, anything comforting that gives you joy.
2.Breathe slowly, rhythmically, taking in pure pleasure, letting go of stress and inhibition.
3.The more you practice delayed gratification, the more effectively you resist the short-term indulgence of single orgasms for the long-term ecstasy of multiples.
4.The PC (pubococcygeal) muscle offers you the double advantage of delaying orgasm and heightening pleasure. The stronger it becomes the greater satisfaction you will derive from your orgasms. Flex your PC four times a day, 20 to 30 times each, and increase gradually, Test it whenever you have an urgency to urinate, since this multi-talented muscle controls that bodily function, as well.
5.Explore those stimuli around you that cause you to become aroused, excited, and ultimately engaged in an advance toward orgasm.
6.Once you have learned how to postpone ejaculation, you are ready to share your secrets with your partner.
7.Introduce techniques gradually, postponing climax to accommodate your mutual needs and desires, while extending your enjoyment indefinitely.
8.It cannot be stressed enough that the only way to become an expert at anything is to practice. Fortunately, the practice of sexual skills is more pleasure than pressure, so there’s no reason to resist homework. Indulge yourself regularly, knowing you are going to derive the full benefits of your labor. And so will the object of your desire.

You now have an obvious choice. Carry on with the sexual lifestyle you’ve been practicing till now, or proceed to the one about which you only dared dream — and which offers the potential to take you places you never knew existed.

150-Million Year Old Baby Bird Fossil/ W Hide Scraper!

I was using my metal detector in the foothills of Tucson, Arizona. As luck would have it, I never find what I am Seeking. As the day started to come to an end. I was walking back to my truck with the metal detector resting on my shoulder.

I caught sight of an unusual looking rock laying on the ground. After picking up the rock I dusted the rock on my pant leg and noticed a fossilized baby bird just off center of the stone. I turned the stone over to reveal more of the bird’s body on the back of the stone.

After showing the bird off to some of my friends, I decided to take the stone to the University of Arizona. I wanted to learn more about what I had found.

My first stop at the U of A was at the American History Museum. I was told to take my stone to the Paleontology Department across the lawn in front of where I was. When I got there I saw a professor in his office. I asked him if I could talk to a Paleontologist. He asked why, so I handed him the stone and preceded to tell him how I had found the stone. His eyes got big with excitement as he examined the stone while we walking down the hallway to another office. Soon theirs were several professor and people looking at the stone in awe over my good fortune. As they talked, I listened.

The rock I found was secondary sedimentary solidified black limestone. Which is not indigenous to this area. I was told the rock could have come from Canada, Montana, Kansas, China, or even from South America.

The baby bird fossil was 150 million years old. This period in time is when birds evolved from reptiles. Another professor pointed out to me other inclusions that were in the stone like plant matter, twigs, and other foreign objects not identifiable to him. A professor stated that there was proof that this rock was found on the top of the ground the impact marks etched into the rock as the rain hit the front of the stone for thousands of years while it lay on top of the ground. The marks were small circular pockets about the size of a pencil eraser grouped together. It was also mentioned that there was once other bones near the chest of the bird that had fallen out over time but the imprint of the bones are still visible. They could not identify the species of bird, as there is nothing on record, to compare it to.

I was asked by one of the professors if I wouldn’t mind waiting for one more professor who was still in class to come see the stone. He stated that this professor was part of their group and they wanted his opinion of the stone.

As he approached, I handed him, the stone. He looked at it for a moment and stated that this stone was an artifact that had been carved by primitive man into a tool used to scrape the flesh away from the hide of game killed for food. It turned out that this mans background is in the field of Archeology. A silence fell on the people gathered we listened to information being given about this rare find.

The archeologist asked one of the professors if he could borrow his microscope to look at the stone more in depth. The group moved down the hall to a small office where we entered. As I stood by his side, he examined the stone and stated that there were glassy areas on the sharp edge around the stone that were not visible to the naked eye. He said that the tendons and ligaments had polished parts of the stone while being used. He also stated that the hide scraper was in mint condition and had hardly been used. He went on to say that most hide scrappers that we see today in museums are small ovals that are badly worn due to their use, and then discarded when they become too small and useless. He also said that he had never seen a slightly used hide scraper before.

He made mention that he wished he knew what group of people had carved the hide scraper. He thought that person who carved the stone might possibly be the first person to be recorded or documented as the first person to be a collector of fossils. He also said that these primitive people were farmers, artists, traders much like the people of today.

He also stated that the position of the bird and the way it was hand carved into a tool to portrayed the bird in such a manner that this item would be considered true fossil art.

After things started to wind down, I felt as several people like me, were in every sense of the word in awe over what this man had to share with us. One of the questions I asked was how much was this unique item I had found worth? The answer was that this artifact with a fossil inside of it had never been seen, documented or recorded anywhere in the world. So because there was nothing to compare it to, this item would be considered priceless.

As people were leaving, a young lady, still full of excitement, that if she was me, I should take a picture of the hide scraper and put it on the internet, and said that I should put a price of 20 million dollars, being that there is only one of these unique hide scrapers in the world. The chances of finding anything like it again are probably one in a trillion.

To date I am the only one in the world that has found anything like this ever. Owning this rare Jewel is overwhelming and too great for any one person to own, so I would like to share my enthusiasm with you and your friends.

14 Tips for a Good Life

14 Tips for a Good Life

Your life depends to a great extend on your life habits. Your daily life habits determine the quality of your life in terms of health and general well being. Good life habits ensure your body’s ability to combat sickness and stay younger than your real age and feel good and happy. The way we think and behave determines how good a life we will lead. Below are 14 tips to develop better life habits to help you enjoy your good life.

1. Replace Negative Thoughts with Positive Ones
Our lives and the circumstances we live in are largely the result of our own thoughts and beliefs. The sum total of our thoughts, if they are positive, will result in a positive life for us. The reverse is just as true. If we think negatively most of the time, we tend to attract negative circumstances into our life. If you think you can handle a situation, then you can.

2. Use Your Conscious Mind As A Gatekeeper And Do That All The Time
To be precise, our subconscious mind cannot differentiate the good from the bad because our subconscious mind largely represents our mind in its natural state - a mind that is pure and non-judgmental. Be more mindful, be more alert so that you’ll make less mistakes, think before you move and be happier.

3. Open Your Heart to Love
Many people live a life without love and often this kind of life is miserable and meaningless. They cannot love themselves, so they also cannot love anyone else or they even think they don’t deserve love. The sad fact is that without love, no matter what else you have in life, it’s not enough. We need to love ourselves unconditionally in order to live a good and full life.

4. Have Faith and Believe in Yourself
Do not doubt yourself, do not fear and always believe in abundance. As long as we have doubt or fear, we will not be able to walk our path. Take the action and walk the path to success and enjoy the fruits you deserve.

5. Be Fully Responsible And Accountable for Your Life
Quite often, when something goes wrong, we have the tendency to find someone or something to blame. This is very unhealthy in deed. I often heard others said “I thought …”. In future avoid say ‘I thought’, a mistake is a mistake, take the responsibility and learn from it. We reap what we sow.

6. Attitude of Gratitude and Altruistic Joy
Adopt a positive attitude, in order to transform ourselves and live a good life. Remember, we bring nothing to this world when we come to life, so the world does not owe us anything. Be happy with what you have and not be unhappy about what you don’t have. Be thankful for whatever small thing or gift you receive.
Altruistic joy is a concept borrowed from the Buddhists. It is a habit of rejoicing in the happiness and success of others. People who have the habit of practicing altruistic joy focus their mind on happiness and success, thus attracting these two things into their own life. In contrast, if we were to have ill-will towards others, we will be attracting more corresponding negative situations into our own life.

7. Setting the Mood For the Day
The first hour of your day strongly determines how your entire day would turn out. If you start off the day grumpily or angrily, you’re likely to end up with a totally grumpy or angry day unless you are alert enough to catch the mood and actively choose to discard it.
If you encounter some problem from work, drop it just outside the door before you step into your house. Go to bed early and wake up early. Do not bring issues and problem with you to bed.

8. Specialized Knowledge and / or experience
Whatever it is you want to be, you must acquire the specialized knowledge or skills required for it. Otherwise, your wish is just wishful thinking. You need to make the right decision, make your plan and take the appropriate action.

9. Exercise regularly and sensibly
Regular sensible exercises keep you fit, alert and strong. Regular exercises helps blood circulation and need I say more?

10. Stay Employed or Occupied
Even if you have to take some time off work to adjust to a new situation, try to work part-time, stay occupied or full-time. Keeping a job is a good way to stay active.

11. Food
You are what you eat. Take a balanced diet, not just eat abundance of what you like and little of other food in order to give your body the balanced amount of nutrition required to maintain a healthy body. Avoid too much hamburger burgers. Plain boiled water is good, cola is not good. Listen to your doctor’s advice if you are sick. For example people with diabetic issues should know what can be taken and what need to be avoided. Avoid heavy food at least 3 hours before going to bed. Avoid alcohol, take more vegetables, more fruits and fish.

12. Helping Others
The more you give the more you will get in return. Those who help others are also helping themselves. For example, if a consultant helps others in need by giving help and information, he is actually gaining trust from whom he helped and eventually people will like to do business with him.

Contributing to society is an important aspect of good life. By helping others within your means to help those who are less fortunate is our obligation to society. If you do that consistently, you will feel good about yourself and your fortune will grow even further because more people will be attracted to you.

Money likes to befriend people who already have abundance of it! Give generously to society, let money flow like water. I like what the famous property tycoon of Hong Kong, Mr. Lee Ka Shing said, “no matter how much money a person has, he only take a 3 meals a day and sleep on one bed!”.

13. Relationship
The fact that relationship whether it is dating or married is hard. Things do not go perfectly right most of the time. Say “I love you” more, and don’t under estimate the ‘power of touch’. Avoid heated quarrel, no one wins a quarrel. The one who thinks he wins a quarrel lose the respect of the other. Put your family first and your career second if you need to make a critical decision. For more tips, click here.

14. Stay In Touch
This is an information age, a digital age, the age of dramatic change. Stay on the Internet, be informed, and don’t lose touch! Visit Good Life regularly,be our friend, make more friends, expand your reach to other good communities, share your thoughts with others and be happy.

Thank you for reading.

12 Things You Can Learn From A Two-Year Old

I think if you asked any child about the adults around them, they’d probably say we’re a little wacky and seem to be stressed out a lot of the time. Here are a few simple things they can teach us…

1. Nap when you’re tired.

2. Eat when you’re hungry.

3. Don’t starve yourself, it makes you tired and cranky. Eat little bits often to keep fueled up.

4. Stubbornly refuse to eat even one more bite once you’re full. If you’re full after a few bites, gleefully throw the rest away.

5. Leave the table with a satisfied, full belly and an eagerness to dive back into your delicious life.

6. Be picky and only eat foods you love. If it doesn’t taste great to you, clamp those lips shut and refuse to eat until something better is found.

7. Be in awe over how amazing and wonderful your body is. Notice how it moves, hugs, plays, loves, heals, and enjoys life.

8. Run, jump, skip, play. Move your body because it’s so much fun and it feels good. Be amazed at all the incredible physical things your body can do.
