Finding The Right Financing For Your Business

One of the biggest challenges for business owners in the USA and in Canada is finding and securing the right type of financing for their businesses. Traditionally, business owners flock to banks when they needed business financing. However, the majority fail to get the business loan because they did not meet the bank’s tough lending standards.

As a rule, banks require that you have an extensive and solid business plan and countless financial projections. And if you are already in business, the bank will need three years of profitable operations before they’ll consider lending you the money.

But don’t be discouraged. If you own a business that is in operation you may have another option. This option is called invoice factoring.

But invoice factoring is not for everyone. It can only be used by businesses that are already in operation and sell to commercial or government customers. However, if you qualify, invoice factoring can be a lifesaver.

If you are like most business owners, waiting 45 to 60 days to get paid by your clients can be pretty hard. Especially because you still have to pay rent, suppliers and salaries while you wait to get paid. Factoring can eliminate the wait and get you paid in little as 2 days. This gives you the necessary liquidity to pay suppliers, rent and salaries. More importantly, it gives you the liquidity to grow your business.

How does it work? Simple. The factoring company buys your invoices and pays you cash for them. They wait to get paid by your customer while you get paid up front. As opposed to business loans, invoice factoring is easy to obtain. The biggest requirement is that you do business with reputable clients.

Factoring works well with software companies, manufacturers, distributors, staffing agencies, trucking companies and many other businesses. If your business needs financing, and you work with reliable clients, be sure to consider invoice factoring as your financial solution.

Take a Scottsdale Golf Vacation

Take a Scottsdale Golf Vacation. Okay all you golfers, looking for a different kind of golf vacation, try Scottsdale! Golf in the desert, the crme de la crme, or even if it is expensive, it’s an experience you should have at least once before you die - probably more. You owe yourself a Scottsdale golf vacation.

Lee Trevino, well known for his quips and sayings, once said of desert golf, “It’s like a voyage into the unknown”. The first desert course, Desert Highlands, was designed and built by Jack Nicklaus and Scott Miller in the mid 1980’s, and it was home to the first “skins game”. It also was the beginning of the building boom of golf courses in Arizona. Taking advantage of the desert terrain, approximately 350 new golf courses have been built since that time.

Most golfers are looking to play a different kind of golf course when they plan their trip to Scottsdale, enough already of the traditional courses that they play every weekend back home…and desert courses fill the bill. The game is the same, whether it’s on a tree-lined fairway or meandering along a desert fairway. The maximum allowance for turf is 90 acres, so there’ll be a lot of desert around you…plus arroyos (dry washes - hopefully), critter warnings (maybe rattlesnakes, possible roadrunners), the jumping chollas (they will reach out and grab you, just brush against one and you’ll have enough cactus spines on you to last the day) and of course the giant Saguaros that will gobble up your ball if it goes that way. Didn’t we tell you it would be an adventure?

Scottsdale and its desert courses are a “must-play” for a great golf vacation. We-Ko-Pa, built by Native Americans over in Fountain Hills is probably the most scenic course you can play anywhere. Four Peaks Mountain (their sacred mountain) is visible from most areas of the course, and the greens are set in box canyons, this course is beautiful and a public golf course to boot. The Boulders of course is set among 1,000,000 year old rocks to give you pause. The Raven Golf Club at Verrado uses natural desert terrain and plays in and around the washes. The White Tank Mountains make a powerful backdrop. And for a real sleeper try the newly revamped Legend Trails, it’s a “strategic course” as described by it’s designer Rees Jones. You’ll be lulled by the first few holes, thinking, “yeh, this course is duck soup”, with minimal desert carries, but whoa, then comes hole #7, a par 5, with water, then on the back nine you’ll get all you can handle with the desert stretching before you. Legend Trails is reasonable with outstanding views, maybe a great place to start your Scottsdale Golf Vacation. Journey into the Self - Part One

A journey into the finer layers of your body to experience more of who you are and gain a deeper understanding of yourself.

As you are reading this, take a few seconds to look at yourself and reflect. Just become aware of the five senses of sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch.

See the connection with your immediate surroundings through each sense in turn. Feel the connection to the planet Earth beneath your feet.

Feel the life force come into your body with each inbreath, sense the beat of your heart, the passage of time from day to night to day again and the flow of the seasons.

You are alive whether you think you are or not. Some people may say that life has passed me by, but life is in every part of you from the beat of your heart to the flow of air in your lungs at each level of your physical body.

Take a second to consider the basic layers that a good general knowledge will tell you exist within you. Become aware of your whole body. Allow your mind and imagination to visualise what it would look like if you could see the organs of the body. The cells that make up the organs and the molecules that make up the cells.

See the atoms that make up the molecules and see the fine particles that make up an atom. See these small particles going into and coming out of the silence of pure nothing, like an empty void or a vacuum that also feels full of all possibilities.

At the same time just allow your mind to become aware of the field of energy that surrounds your physical body. And again use your imagination to see the field of energy that surrounds each organ, each cell, each molecule, each atom and each particle. With your feelings feel the silence that exists in the void, feel the potential and feel the love.

Just allow your imagination to look at one atom in your body to see all the electrons spinning around the nucleus. Change your vision and imagine - what it would look like to stand on one electron. Looking out into the darkness at all the other positive nuclei radiating energy!

Would it look like a person standing on planet Earth looking out into the sky on a dark night at all the other stars of the universe around them? That person may say, I wish I knew if there were any other life in the universe on any of these other electrons, not realising that they are all apart of themselves. But they had just narrowed down their vision to such a small part of themselves that they had lost sight of the whole.
~
Life is constantly flowing from deep within your heart outwards. You are a spiritual person looking out at the world around you through all these five senses.

Your body is the vehicle that allows you to experience life as a human through your thoughts, words and deeds. Your feelings are what connect you back to yourself.

These layers of energy that surround each layer of your physical existence form your consciousness. Note the depth of consciousness as you drop down the layers of your physical existence.

Then watch your consciousness expand as you drop down into the void, that field of silence like a vacuum that connects the entire universe together. Just know that all the layers of matter come out of this silence. It is the meeting point between each human, animal, plant and physical matter.

This is the field where consciousness flows when we have the experience of telepathy, a premonition. It is the field you travel through when you have out of body experiences.

But in reality you never leave your body; you just move your awareness from one part to another. Just like moving your awareness from your head to your foot. When you feel at one with the whole universe then your body is the universe and you can move your awareness to any part.

What is the universe around you that you experience through your senses? Well your ears hear the sounds waves, your eyes see the frequency of the different colours of light, when you touch a cold piece of steel it feels cold, when you touch a warm piece it feels warm, but what is the difference? - the level of excitation in the molecules or the frequency and power of their vibration.

When you smell something you feel the vibration of the molecules of that substance floating in the air. When you taste something it is a vibration that you feel. In other words all the senses just tap into a different level of vibration.

You live in a universe of light which is vibration and all matter is just the layers of this light getting grosser and grosser the farther you come away from the silence within your heart.

But you may say, it is not just light - I feel love in my heart? What is this love, which I feel?

When people fall in love they often talk of the magnetic attraction they feel for their partner.

This light, when it forms into electrons and nuclei, creates polarity of negative and positive. These pairs of opposites then grow into the diversity in the universe as we know it. Up/down, left/right, hot/cold, good/bad, yesterday/tomorrow and male/female.

Electric charge produces electromagnetic fields which we can feel around our body. If we put an EEG (electroencephalograph) machine on our heads we can measure the electrical charge of our brain waves. You could say that the field of energy or magnetic part makes up our consciousness, and the flow of energy makes up our thought waves.

But understand too that these are on many levels, as I have mentioned earlier, as well as the energy field around our whole body. There is an energy field around each organ, cell, molecule, atom, which forms an individual level of consciousness, as well as the connection to the universal mind within the silence of your core energy.

There are also layers of energy/consciousness going the other way. Each family has a layer of consciousness, each housing estate, each town, each country - until you get to the whole of planet Earth.

But astrology teaches us that all the planets of our solar system have an influence on us and our consciousness. These layers keep expanding out to include all the planets and stars in the Milky Way until you expand out to the Universe or the Omniverse.
Then the whole of that reality may be just a grain of sand on the beach in another dimension.

How To Find The Perfect Images Online

Has this ever happened to you?

You need a photo for a website, brochure, flyer, or CD / DVD cover.

You buy one of those 100,000 photo and clipart collections on 10 CD-ROMs hoping to find the “perfect” picture, but after hours of searching you find your brain tired, your mouse hand numb, and no “perfect” photo in sight.

Fortunately, the photo and clipart business got a lot smarter online, and anyone who ever needs good photos at rock bottom prices stands to benefit.

Buying one of those mega-photo collections to find one photo rates about the same as buying an entire aisle at the supermarket in hopes of finding a single Snicker bar!

Personally, my shelves hold over 2,000,000 photo and clipart images on over 100 CD-ROMs, most of which rate quite useless to me.

To further complicate matters, photo collections on CD-ROM tend to go out of date.

Many of the photo collections I bought in the mid-1990’s contain photos of people from the 1980’s, so the hair, clothes and even makeup look out-of-date.

The solution to this dilemma lies in the fact that you can now buy photos online at bargain-basement prices.

Previously, in order to buy photos online, you either joined a membership site, which charges a monthly fee, or you bought by the photo from sites charging $100 or more for one photo.

Do a search on google.com for “royalty free photo,” “stock photo,” or “buyout photo” and you’ll find plenty of websites offering photos at premium prices (not to mention the confusion of finding what you want).

Two excellent options for buying photos and clipart are ClipArt.com and BigStockPhoto.com.

Clipart.com charges a membership fee to browse their database and download images.

Their best deal is the yearly subscription of $169.95 (equates to about $15 a month) with unlimited downloads.

This represents an excellent option if you plan to use a large number of images over the year, but I found the actual photos (they also carry clipart, sounds, illustrations and more) about average.

At BigStockPhoto.com I found the photos much more compelling and dramatic than ClipArt.com.

I also like the fact that BigStockPhoto.com lets you buy only the photos you want by purchasing credits instead of paying for a membership.

You can buy a single photo for $2.50, but the price per picture goes down when you buy multiple credits (10 gives you the first price break).

Whenever you buy images, carefully read the fine print in the license about how you can and cannot use the images, especially for commercial purposes.

It does you no good to buy an image you can’t use. Beware of “free” clipart and photo websites, they can often display images of dubious origin.

Also, free clipart sites frequently carry tons of banner and pop-up advertising (along with some more sinister spyware applications that install themselves automatically on your computer).

Regardless of why you want them, buying images online now rates much better than buying a huge clipart collection and hoping to find what you need.

And, by purchasing only the pictures you need, you’ll save yourself significant time and money in the long run.

Golf Exercise For A Great Game And New Body In 2006

Golf exercise is mainstream thanks to Tiger, Annika, Larry Nelson and all the top tournament golfers who are doing it and seeing fantastic results from it.

You are a “golfing athlete!” And ALL athletes work on their “machines”.

Why wouldn’t you?

Participating in a golf exercise program that works on all your personal, physical limitations is the approach you need to take.

Every golfer has different physical needs, and they should be at the top of your golf exercise program list.

This is the year you’re going to make it happen! 2006 will be your year! No more excuses. No more reasons not to do it. Just one thing on your mind.

Playing BETTER golf and feeling like you did years ago.

The “use-it-or-lose” phrase is SO true. The human body declines rapidly in both strength and flexibility if you don’t keep up with it.

Don’t you feel like you’ve lost these two key components for optimal golf performance? It’s a natural occurrence, but you can do something about it!

It’s called “golf exercise”.

Exercise that’s specific to the demands the golf swing puts on your body…and there are many.

Just getting in your golf posture takes a higher level of both strength and flexibility in your hamstrings. Just getting in your posture! Now how about making a decent swing? It’s not going to happen if your body is broken.

I don’t like to sugar-coat things. I like to wake people up and get them going asap! That’s the only way.

I don’t want to say I’m not empathetic, but “crap-or-get-off-the pot”.

A fitter body and better game aren’t going to happen on their own. You’ve got to start your golf exercise program right now.

Directory Submission and Article Submission - Link Building Strategy

If you have a website then you are certainly concerned with its rankings in search engines because you want to increase traffic to your website to increase revenues. Fortunately, with article submission services and directory submission you can increase the visibility of your website as well as its ranking in the search engines because you will be gaining one way links and visibility. Consider the following benefits of article submission and directory submission so you, too, can enjoy a high ranking from the popular search engines.

Article Submission

The benefit form article submission is not as much from the information in the article, but from the links embedded in the article that increase your rankings with the search engine. Search engines work on a variety of levels, one of them including the amount of links on the Internet pointing back to your website. As a result, the more links you have the higher you are ranked. So, part of your search engine optimization strategy should be to use article submission services. You simply write or buy an article and have links to your site and different pages in your site embedded in the article. Then, the article is submitted to various article directories and spread across the Internet as well. The more links you have the higher your search rankings and a great way to get a lot of links is to use article submission services. Remember, once your article is submitted with the embedded links to your site it is more than likely to stay on the Internet forever and you will have one way permanent links to your site that are always helping you in the search engine rankings.

Directory Submission

If you are interested in your website truly performing the best in search engine rankings then you will concern yourself with directory submission. There are thousands of different directories out there, some that apply to your website, and others that do not. By focusing on directory submission in the directories that are related to your site you will certainly increase your rankings. Of course, each directory has categories as well so it does take some research and effort to get your website submitted to all the directories in the right categories that really benefit your site. But, once you do you have a permanent listing of your website in the directory that will direct your target audience to your site day in and day out. Remember, however, that just any directory submission is not going to get you the traffic you want. You need to focus on submitting to directories that relate to your website in order to have your website directory submission in the location where your target audience is.

Directory Submission and Article Submission - Permanent Links

When you rely solely on other websites to host your link in order for you to host their, you are risking that other webmasters simply chose to remove your link and with it your Search Engine rankings go down. However, when you use article submission and directory submission in order to build links to your site and make your website more visible to your target audience you are basically receiving permanent links and advertisement for your site. The benefit of this is that with a little effort you can get your articles submitted and your website listed with the directories and then just sit back and enjoy the permanent links and higher search engine rankings you receive.

ESPN Announces Full 2008 World Series of Poker Broadcast Schedule

Hold onto your hats and your cards, all you TV-watching poker fans, because ESPN has announced the full broadcast schedule for the 2008 World Series of Poker.

To kick things off, ESPN will air two-hour episodes on Tuesday nights each week beginning July 22nd and running through November 11th, the date of the “almost live” final table for this year’s Main Event. They’re billing the last table that way because they’ll need to edit down the multi-hour event to a TV-friendly two hours or so. Poker is great and all, but I think even the biggest fan would have trouble watching a poker game from start to finish on TV.

Preliminary events comprise the first third of ESPN’s broadcast schedule, for a total of 17 episodes. The first six of those episodes will feature the $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. World Championship (held on August 19) and the $10,000 Pot-Limit Hold’em World Championship (August 26).

The Main Event episodes will begin on September 2, and runs through to the November 11 final table.

Mixed in with that with that will be a “preview” episode that profiles the nine final-table players. That episode is scheduled to air November 4.

This year’s prize of $9,119,517 is second-largest in WSOP history.

Here’s ESPN’s 2008 WSOP broadcast schedule:

  • 7-22 8:00pm $10,000 Pot-Limit Hold’em World Championship
  • 7-29 8:00pm $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em
  • 8-5 8:00pm $1,500 Pot-Limit Hold’em / $5,000 Mixed Hold’em
  • 8-12 8:00pm $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em w/ Rebuys
  • 8-19 8:00pm $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. World Championship
  • 8-26 8:00pm $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha World Championship
  • 9-2 8:00pm $10,000 NLHE World Championship (Main Event)
  • 9-9 9:00pm $10,000 NLHE World Championship (Main Event)
  • 9-16 9:00pm $10,000 NLHE World Championship (Main Event)
  • 9-23 9:00pm $10,000 NLHE World Championship (Main Event
  • 9-30 9:00pm $10,000 NLHE World Championship (Main Event)
  • 10-7 9:00pm $10,000 NLHE World Championship (Main Event)
  • 10-14 9:00pm $10,000 NLHE World Championship (Main Event)
  • 10-21 9:00pm $10,000 NLHE World Championship (Main Event)
  • 10-28 9:00pm $10,000 NLHE World Championship (Main Event)
  • 11-4 8:00pm Main Event - Final Table Preview Show

And the final event is scheduled for November 11, 2008 at 9:00pm.

Cooking a Turkey Cajun Style; Super Secret Recipe

Have you ever tried a Turkey Cajun Style; they are quite good. Perhaps you might want to take advantage as the unsold Turkeys go on sale right after Thanksgiving and that is generally a lot of meat per weight for the price. Let me tell you of one way to cook a 11-16 pound Turkey Cajun Style and you will absolutely love it.

First get a five-gallon pale of peanut oil, which is enough to soak your Turkey in. You will want to make sure it is totally under the peanut oil submerged. Then you will need some Creole Seasoning, one good brand is Tony Chachere. You will need a large pot big enough to submerge your Turkey and a way to raise and lower the turkey and a thermometer. Heat the oil with the seasoning in it to 350 degrees. Then cook your turkey by frying it for about 36 minutes to an hour based on the size of the turkey.

If the thing catches on fire raise the Turkey, put out the fire and start again, realizing to stop the timer. Be sure not to burn down the house. This Turkey will serve between 8-10 men, or athletic types. Only cool people make Cajun Turkey this way. Please do not share this Secret Recipe with anyone else. Thanks.

Grooming A Short-Haired Cat

Most cats are able to keep themselves clean without much help from their owner. Cats with long hair, arthritis or injured cats, will need help keeping their coat in good condition. Grooming also helps them to remain mentally and physically healthy.

• Regular Grooming reduces the amount of shed hair in your home

• Grooming provides an opportunity to check your cat all over for skin ailments and any unusual lumps

• You are able to check for signs of fleas and ticks

• Prevents hairballs

• Creates bonding time with your cat

• Prevents the hair from matting

• Grooming is enjoyable for your cat.

A short haired cat can be considered low maintenance compared with the long haired cat. Short coats can easily be kept clean by gently stroking your cat. Using your hand to groom will loosen dead hairs, tone muscles and help you bond with your cat. Grooming once a week is good enough for a short haired cat. If you feel like your hand needs assistance in the grooming process, you can invest in a fine-toothed comb and a stiff brush. The result of grooming your cat will be a happy cuddlesome cat that will look good and feel great.
