Your European Vacation - A Guide To Choosing European Vacation Packages

What do you look for in a European vacation? The romance of a Paris vacation, the buzz of some time in London, England or the relaxation and quiet peace of an alpine valley? The truth is that, with a European vacation package, you can have all of this and more.

Europe is a very diverse continent and the range of possible European vacations reflects this. In each European country you can choose from the buzz of a city visit or the relaxation of the countryside. Transport links are good and it’s easy to hop from country to country by plane, by train or by road. This article sets out to help you plan a European vacation that suits you.

European vacation - travel tips for cheap European tours

If you want to travel Europe on a low budget then the two key issues are time and flexibility. There are now many cheap European airlines who offer budget airfares for travel between European countries. Almost without exception they offer an excellent service, and their prices are remarkably low. But you do need to be flexible - both in your choice of destination and in your travel schedule timings.

European budget airlines often fly between the less popular airports and may only operate one flight a day. This means that if you miss a flight or if your flight is cancelled then you could face a long wait in a rather out of the way town or provincial airport.

The Irish airline, Ryanair, can be used as an example. Their flight billed as Glasgow to Paris departs from a town called Prestwick - about forty miles from Glasgow and arrives at Beauvais, a French town about sixty miles from Paris. Coach services are provided and the service is good but you will need to add at least an hour to your journey at either end. Getting stranded late at night in Beauvais or Prestwick is not likely to be fun. You can find a list of cheap European airlines and some of their routes on the websites listed below.

If you would rather travel to Europe on a planned European Vacation Package then you will have other issues to contend with. Planned European vacation packages can sometimes be rather sterile and predictable. Some of them may almost have the effect of insulating you against anything European! The notion of being herded along on like cattle among a mass of bemused fellow travellers is not likely to appeal to many of us.

Try to find a package that will allow you the benefits of having your travel and accommodation organised but still leave time for you to branch off on your own if you want to.

Travel Europe and enjoy it. There is no right or wrong approach - simply work out what suits you and your lifestyle best. You will find plenty of choice in every European country. If you’ve never taken a European vacation then please do consider it - the possibilities are almost limitless.

Grow-Ops!

Here is another very good reason to quit smoking: home-based marijuana growing operations not only reduce the market value of the properties they are carried out into - they also inhibit market values of neighboring properties as well! This is so, because most grow-ops are controlled and run for the benefit of organized crime, and these types of activities attract a lot of thugs who tend to fill the neighborhood at odd hours, so that the charm of home-sweet-home all of a sudden changes drastically for the worse. The Organized Crime Agency of British Columbia says that organized crime controls 85 percent of the marijuana cultivation and distribution in B.C. You might as well as live next to Sing-Sing.

In addition to spectacular natural scenery, super natural places to discover and two bustling metropolitan centers like Vancouver and Victoria, as well as boasting one of the mildest climates in Canada, British Columbia holds one other record - although this one is very seldom publicized on tourism websites: it is home to the ‘B.C. Bud’, one of the most sought-after varieties of marijuana.

Marijuana cultivation accounts for up to five percent of Canada’s GDP in British Columbia alone, which means that the crop is worth more than the local mining and logging industries combined. In 2004, there were an estimated 17,500 grow labs in British Columbia, producing pot worth up to CAD $7 billion. The number of grow-ops busted by Police in British Columbia more than doubled between 1999 and 2004, from 1,251 to 2,908.

To think that legalization or decriminalization would change anything is absolutely ludicrous, in Canada at least, since what is produced in Canada is destined for the United States. A pound of marijuana in British Columbia is worth about CAD $2,500 locally. That same pound of marijuana in Seattle can fetch up to CAD $7,500. Organized crime recognizes that. Because of this, the problem is getting bigger, not smaller, and it is impacting more and more the local residential real estate industry.

At the level of the individual property owner, grow-ops cause in many cases irreversible structural damage. As these properties are invariably rented by growers for several months and then abandoned, in many instances the homes have holes in the walls for vents to get rid of much of the moisture, concrete foundations are damaged to accommodate rewiring that may be required to steal electricity to run the operation, and the artificial high humidity level and heat generated by the 1000-watt lamps employed in the operation, as well as the chemicals used to grow marijuana faster, cause toxic mould and structural damage to the inner components of the walls (so called ‘black mould’). Besides, indoor grow-ops also pose a serious fire hazard, because marijuana cultivation requires much more electricity than a typical residential home. Illegal electrical hookups pose a serious safety risk for those in and near the home.

Human health risks can result from the mould sometimes associated with marijuana hydroponic cultivation, the chemicals used to foster plant growth, and the relatively high concentration of carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide suspected to exist in some grow-op dwellings. Many of these safety concerns are exacerbated by the fact that grow ops are generally located in high-density areas.

In addition, property owners must contend with the stigma - the consequence of an unusual, distressing event or circumstance such as a criminal activity - that attaches to properties formerly used for pot farming. This is especially evident when time comes to sell, as stigmatized properties are worth less because Buyers are reluctant to consider them. Prior to entering into a Contract to sell real estate the Seller is required to disclose to the Buyer any latent defects the Seller is aware of. Failure to disclose will not affect the consent of the parties, but will have similar consequences as misrepresentation. Likewise, Buyers who fail to disclose to a lender that the property they are about to purchase (with the lender’s money) has been used for marijuana growing commit a criminal offence under Section 380 of PART X (FRAUDULENT TRANSACTIONS RELATING TO CONTRACTS AND TRADE) of the British Columbia Criminal Code.

And finally, with the increasing number of new homes and condominiums being used for marijuana farming, the companies who offer home warranties in British Columbia have begun suspending coverage on homes identified as grow-ops. Since 1999, all residential builders in B.C. must arrange for home warranty insurance before they can obtain a building permit. The legislated home warranty insurance covers two years on labor and materials, five years on the building envelope and ten years on the structure. But homes that have been used for purposes “other than residential” can have exclusions to their warranty. Since the houses are invariably damaged by the moisture, mould, bad wiring or other alterations made for a grow operation, companies that provide the warranties are sending inspectors to the homes, and then suspend coverage in whole or in part.

Bad times never tell before coming. You just suffered a heavy loss in business with all your savings gone and almost bankrupt with only your home at your disposal. This is the dream home you have made for yourself and your loved ones. You don’t want to put it at stake of mortgage. So what would you do to come out of the financial crisis? Is there any type of finance which would be easy to obtain and easy on your pocket as well? The key to this question is CHEAP UNSECURED LOAN.

A cheap unsecured loan is a low interest, low rate and low cost borrowing loan with nothing attached as collateral. Cheap loans are borrowed on the basis of low monthly repayments. The loan rates are variable and depend on the money borrowed. Loans are not a product where “one size fits all”, so be sure what cheap unsecured deal you would be availing. Though cheap loans are normally available with collateral but if you can assure the creditor that you can repay his money back then, you may avail a cheap unsecured loan. The best option to get the apt cheap unsecured loan is to have a co-signer who guarantees that if you are not able to pay back the credit then he will pay back on your behalf.

There are plenty of unsecured cheap loans available in UK. All you need to do is the proper research and catch out the appropriate fish for your well being from the shoal of fishes in the ocean of loans. Unsecured cheap loans with low rates of interest and low costs thus bring forth to you the opportunity to get the best as you can use them not only to restore your business but also to give your family the much needed holiday and other luxuries.

Catch the right fish at the right time to give the best quality cheap unsecured loan for the people you care and want to be happy.

Final Fantasy X Review.

Game story
telling at its finest

Though I generally don’t buy systems for a single game, Final
Fantasy X was pretty much -the- reason I got a ps2 a few years
back. After the outstanding FFIX, I was wondering if they could
top it. The short answer is “almost”. As you all know, you can’t
really say a certain Final Fantasy is better than another
(unless it’s 7, because that’s the single worst one in the
series). Most of them have different fighting systems from
eachother, none up until recently have been sequels of
eachother, and they’re just plain different altogether. Final
Fantasy X sure as heck is different in a lot of ways. For one,
it did away with leveling up more or less. I know, I was
surprised too. Even better is how it brought in the ability to
switch your characters in and out of fights at all times. Why
did it take 10 games for them to finally do that? Then there’s
the voice actors for all the major and some secondary
characters, breath taking FMVs that still hold up 5 years later,
a great cast of characters, fun side-quests, no overworld map, a
freakin’ sports mini-game, and one of the most talked about
endings in gaming history, and you’ve got a sure winner.

Sadly, you take up the role of one of the sissiest rpg
characters to date- Tidus. It’s not so much that he’s a sissy
for dumb reasons- his dad never showed any affection for him as
a child, and left without a trace years ago. But it’s more in
his voice. See, Tidus sounds like Michael J. Fox if he were 17.
Yeah, not good. But Tidus is a star Blitzball player (think
water polo and rugby combined) who’s in the middle of a big game
when suddenly, out of nowhere, comes a massive attack on his
city of Zanarkand. Everything around him begins to be destroyed,
and he barely comes out of it alive. After getting a sword from
his guardian, Auron (quite possibly the most bad-ass FF
character ever), the two begin to fight of monsters that are
spawn from Sin, a huge squid-like creature that’s causing the
chaos. Soon though, the two are seperated via a portal, and
Tidus meets up with a traveling group known as the Al Bhed.
After a little while, they get seperated as well, and this time,
Tidus ends up on the shore of a calm island…with Blitzball
players. Where the hell is he? That’s a good question.
Apparently, Zanarkand was destroyed many years ago according to
anyone that he asks. After making friends with Wakka, the
captain of a Blitzball team (who has never won a game in all the
years they’ve been playing no less), he’s taken to a town where
a summoner is beginning her pilgrimage. Yuna, the daughter of a
summoner who defeated Sin a few years ago to bring a calm to
their world, is going to try to stop Sin as well. She’s
accompanied with her other guardians, Lulu and Kimahri. Lulu is
a sexy black mage who puts Garnet and any other rpg vixen to
shame, and Kimahri is supposed to be the strongman of the group.
I’ll get more into him later on. They head out, looking for Sin
and helping those who have suffered at its hand while Tidus
looks for answers to his questions. It won’t be an easy trip-
religion plays a key part of the plot, and there are fiends
everywhere. For once, a Final Fantasy has a reason for the
monsters: fiends are spirits of the dead that refused to rest.
We find out early on that Yuna has to send the spirits away to
the Farplane in order for them to rest.

Kiss leveling up via experience good-bye, because it’s all a
matter of Spheres now. After fights, you’ll earn a certain
amount of AP that goes towards how many spaces you can move on
the Sphere Grid, a massive chart full of bonuses and moves for
your characters to gain. You will use Strength, Magic, Speed,
Luck and other Spheres to level your stats up now. What’s cool
is that your characters are all fairly balanced early on with
their moves. Wakka is the most accurate fighter, Lulu’s black
magic kills fiends who are strong against physical attacks,
Rikku can steal, Yuna can summon and heal, Auron’s a freakin’
sentinel, Tidus is fairly fast, and Kimahri…well, he can be an
extra target. But after you gain enough AP and Spheres, you can
have them all doing whatever moves you’d like. Wakka could use
healing magic, Auron could cast Ultima, and Lulu could be as
strong as the heavy hitters physically. Many say that Kimahri is
“the first real customizable character”, but I don’t see it that
way. True, his placement on the grid allows him to be anyone you
want since he doesn’t have any one stat he’s best at, but god,
give the guy something better than being closest to Rikku’s
side. If you manage to level him up enough, he can steal an hour
or two before you get Rikku to join the party. At best, he’s a
poor man’s Rikku, and that’s not much. Kimahri is a blue mage,
being able to use a select few attacks that enemies use. None of
which are useful, though it’s funny how his strongest attack is
Self-Destruct, which has him blow himself up on an enemy. And
for added comedy, have Kimahri use an item in battle. He uses it
by scratching his caboose. The air ship here is a hell of a lot
better than previous ones. Eliminating a true overworld map to
wander on, you just select your destination from the ship’s map,
and you’re there. Essentially, it does what previous ships did,
but minus the slow flying around and landing just right to reach
those strangely deployed buildings. You can also customize
weapons and armor to your delight. Do you want more than 9,999
HP? Go on and do it. Want Auto-Haste? Go nuts. Want to be cheap
like me and have Auron’s armor consist of Break HP Limit,
Auto-Haste, Auto-Protect, and Auto-Shell? Be my guest. Overdrive
attacks are toned down a little bit in this installment, not
being anywhere near as cheap as a certain Gunblade move. Though
Wakka is the strongest character of the game, and quite possibly
any FF. His Attack Reels can hit the enemy for up to 12 times,
and if you have Break Damage Limit, that’s a lot of damage.
Finally, I was surprised at how mature Square managed to make
X’s story while keeping it light hearted for the most part. The
idea of a religion becoming corrupt and nothing but lies is
something very few games have approached.

When it was released, X was the top of the food chain. The
in-game graphics were unrivaled, and it took a lot to happen
on-screen at once in order for any slowdown in the 30 fps.
Backgrounds were beautiful, and some didn’t even look like they
were pre-rendered. Character models are all unique and have a
vast supply of animations, and spell effects couldn’t look any
better. But then there’s the FMVs. To this day, I haven’t seen
an FMV that matches the sheer awesomeness of the one where Auron
makes a comeback and takes on a fiend. The sound is equally
fanstastic, consisting of a flawless soundtrack and mostly good
voice actors. Like I’ve already mentioned, Tidus’ voice actor
could’ve been done better by Steve Irwin, the Croc Hunter. I’d
like to know how bad the others were that he beat out for the
part, because that must’ve taken skill. Everyone else does great
though. Wakka, the happy-go-lucky Blitzball player is
surprisingly voiced by the guy who did Bender on Futurama.
Yuna’s voice matches her part, as do Rikku and Lulu’s. And Auron
sounds perfect. His voice could’ve ruined his character, but
luckily, that didn’t happen. The supporting voice actors do
great too, and I recognized a few that I’ve heard on various
animated shows.

X definately isn’t for everyone. People are still making fun of
Tidus, complaining about the lack of an overworld map, and I
don’t think anyone’s settled on a definate conclusion to the
plot and how everything ended up the way it did. But for those
who can accept change in what was becoming a stale series, it’s
a breath of fresh air.

Tips to Avoid Overspending on Credit Cards

Shopping or buying things is one of the guilty pleasures in life
and with the presence of credit cards, spending seems to be more
like a habit and way of life. Credit cards make one’s life
easier but it could also make one’s life a living hell once you
find yourself drowning with credit card debt.

For people that are not yet in this situation, good for you (and
read on anyway to make sure you recognize the danger signals)
but for those who are just inches away from that situation (or
worse), pay attention because this might actually save your life
from overspending your credit cards.

1. Know your credit limit

The first thing that you should know is your credit card limit
so that you know if you are going overboard. Always keep in mind
that once you cross that limit, there is no turning back.

2. Set your own credit limit

Aside from the credit limit set by the credit card company, it
is advisable that you set your own credit limit that you can
follow. It would be good if it is significantly lower than your
standard credit limit so that you could actually be in control.

3. List down all your expenses

Having a list is really helpful in determining the things that
you are buying and purchasing. Listing it will help you track
down the things that you put your money into and trust me, half
of it is really not that important to your life.

4. Don’t succumb to the following sales pressures

Advertising on TV, radio, or elsewhere is meant to not only
inform but to tempt you into making purchases you would
otherwise do without. Some common techniques are associating the
product with heroes, as a status symbol, as a way to be more
attractive, sexy, or smart. Avoid purchase decisions based on
advertising techniques because they are cleverly done solely as
a way to get you to transfer your money to the company that’s
doing the advertising.

5. Avoid shopping unless it is really needed

It is not easy to resist temptation especially if the name of
that temptation is the word, “sale”. Avoiding stores would help
you overcome the instinct of buying and using your credit card
unnecessarily. It would be better if you did not see the things
that would tempt you. Just use your imagination! Also avoid
buying just because there is a coupon, free gift, or other
incentive attached, unless you really need the item.

6. Keep your credit cards at home

If you are the type of person that carries at least 5 types of
credit cards in their wallet, I suggest that it would be better
if you just carry one or two so that you will not be tempted to
use all of them. If you cannot avoid the shops, then just leave
your non-emergency credit cards at home.

7. Keep your receipts

If you are still not aware that you are on the verge of
overspending, keep your receipts for a week and then total all
the expenses that you did for that week. This would really be an
effective wake-up call, more so even than coffee for your body!

8. Carry cash

Instead of making the habit of paying through credit cards,
develop a habit to depend on paying transactions by cash so that
you could really be able to keep track of your expenses. Cash is
easier to count rather than card transactions. It will also make
you more resistant to impulsive purchases.

Do this exercise: Sit down and try to remember the major
purchases you’ve made in the last year or more (or go through
your old receipts to jog your memory). How many of those
purchases would you consider to be a “bad” purchase? In other
words, was it something that you haven’t really used, worn, or
wasn’t as important as you thought at the time?

Of those major purchases (items that cost maybe $100 or more
that weren’t necessities), how many of those purchases would you
repeat if you knew then what you know now?

You’ll probably find that at least half of your purchases were
“bad”. So use that as a guideline to help you avoid making
similar bad purchases in the future, perhaps by postponing
instant gratification by “sleeping on the decision”. More often
than not, you’ll wake up in less of a buying mood than you were
the day before, and you won’t miss the item you would have
purchased in the slightest.

9. Recognize the signs that you are overspending

Once you realize that you are having a hard time paying your
monthly credit card statement, that is already a sign that you
are losing your control over the matter. Be aware of these
things because it is a warning to be heeded.

10. Know your limitations

Being aware of yourself could actually save you a lot of money
because you already know the things that you need and the things
that you don’t. Knowing your limitations could help you stop the
unnecessary spending through the use of credit cards.

Credit cards are convenient to use, and absolutely necessary
sometimes, but if one abuses the usage of their convenience,
overspending results and it can really be a big burden for a
person.

Overwintering Ponds

It seems that there are always questions in the fall about
winterizing plastic ponds. To begin with, clean out all the gunk
(composed of fish and plant waste) at the bottom of the pond.
Specialist garden catalogues have a little gizmo that attaches
to a hose and when the hose is run, the gizmo acts like a vacuum
cleaner, sucking debris from the bottom of the pond. Or you can
put your pump on the pond bottom and point the discharge into
the garden. If you don’t remove the plant debris, it will
continue to decompose. Decomposition uses oxygen as one of its
primary fuels and this means that oxygen will be taken from the
water to fuel plant decomposition. If there is an ice-layer over
the pond, and there will be shortly, the water will not be able
to replace that oxygen and the pond will go into an anaerobic
(without oxygen) state under the ice.

Now, you’ve never quite smelled something until you’ve taken a
whiff of a pond that’s in that state. It is basically your very
own backyard sewage system. Aside from getting rid of the smell,
the reason you remove the bottom layers of material is so any
fish you’re leaving in the pond will have enough oxygen to
survive the winter. And survive they will as long as you stop
feeding them when the water temperature is less than 50F. At
that temperature, it is really too cold for them to feed and any
food will simply rot. The fish will survive as long as the water
doesn’t freeze solidly to the bottom of the pond. If the pond is
three to four feet deep, it will not freeze and your fish will
be fine. Shallower ponds will either have to have a bubbler, a
pump left running to keep an open area open or the fish removed
to an aquarium for the winter. But start with removing the gunk.

Sales Lessons from Bob Vila

There’s more to what he does than meets the eye

With so many different programs, and reruns and
re-packaging of older programs, we can assume
there are few people on the planet who do not know
about Bob Vila. Starting with the original “This
Ol’ House” programs on PBS in 1979, Bob Vila and
his empire, have grown into a major force in the
Home Improvement Television genre.

The professional salesperson can learn a whole lot
more from Bob Vila than how to screet concrete or
put mud on the drywall.

Bob Vila is a study in brand awareness. Bob is the
brand. The challenge was getting people to
recognize, and ultimately respect Bob Vila, as THE
home improvement expert. Whatever he did before
that first TV program is inconsequential as is
whether or not he can saw a board of drive a nail
(something he does verl little of on his show).

Bob Vila became a household name. Brand awareness
to the highest degree. So high in fact that Sears
asked him to be a spokesperson and that killed his
deal with PBS (his first network gig). Now Bob has
“Home Again with Bob Vila”, “Bob Vila’s Guide to
Historic Homes” and others plus specials, books
and tapes and even “Bob Vila’s Home Design” series
on two CD’s (handsomely packaged, of course).
They are recycling the first PBS shows and calling
them “This Ol’ House Classics”. Bob is a TV
pitchman, too. He sells credit card debt
reduction and every product Sears can come up
with, plus a closet full of books and videos.

This didn’t happen by accident, but by clever
design. The design element continues today, every
time you see him on the tube. How did he do it?
Simple, all he did was tell all the people on TV
to call him by name, over and over. A lot like
subliminal advertising. You don’t realize you are
getting the message. A typical segment of any of
his programs, past or present, might go like this:

Bob: Today on our show, Fred Murtz is going to
show us how to cut a board with a handsaw. Welcome
to our show Fred.

Fred: Thanks, Bob, glad to be here.

Bob: You’ve been cutting boards for a long time

Fred: I sure have Bob. I got my first hand saw at
age seven, from my grandpa. I brought several saws
to show you, Bob.

Bob: Show us how to use that saw (pointing)

Fred: That is a crosscut saw, Bob. It is the
mainstay in most basic construction. Bob, this is
the easiest of all saws to use. You hold it like
this, Bob. And when you begin the movement up and
down, you put your index finger along the side
here, can you see that, Bob? That’s how you cut
straighter Bob, with that little finger pointing
the way.

(and so on.) catching on? Everyone Bob talks with
uses his name repeatedly. If you look at it apart
from the program, you can see that people don’t
really talk that way. Could all his guests be
instructed to use his name in every sentence
possible? Bob never uses their name after the
introduction until the end bit when he thanks the
guest, by name.

So who’s name do we hear, hundreds of times in a
program? Bob Vila! It didn’t take long for him to
be recognized as consummate hammer and nails guru.
Better yet, he doesn’t do any of the work on his
shows, he just gets people to use his name while
they do it all.

How does this relate to sales you ask? Easy, you
can use the Bob Vila approach on your customers.
Use their name at every opportunity. Practice
until you can use it in every third sentence. It
will create an instant rapport. The more you can
use the customer’s name, the more you can build
trust and confidence with that person.

Think about the many times you have watched Bob on
TV and not noticed how the guests use his name
over and over. The majority of people don’t see it
until someone (like me in this article) points it
out. Most folks never see the hidden meaning
there, or recognize the unusual sentence
structure. You can use name-infected sentences in
any conversation, to your advantage, every time.
They work, beautifully. And they never offend
(”Hey, Fred, would you mind not using my name so
much, I’m sorta sensitive!”).

The next time you talk with a customer, remember
what Bob Vila did and you, too, can be the most
respected person in your field.

8 Key Factors that are essential for a Solid Internet Business

There are a number of ingredients that go into making and
growing a successful internet business, but the most important
is action.

As an entrepreneur you will understand that time is against you
and that with each passing day your competitors are taking your
potential customers and profits.

However, to make money on the internet you need to know the
fundamental requirements to establish a solid online presence
from which you can grow a profit pulling business…

1. A Strategy

Without establishing a strategy and business plan your business
will wander around aimlessly without achieving mush at all.

It is vital that your plan is reduced to writing to ensure that
it is structured and well thought out.

2. Funding

Whilst the beauty about starting an internet business is that
the start up capital requirement is significantly less than
other businesses, it is still wise to ensure that you have the
funding to keep the business afloat for at least 6 months.

This would mean having the cash flow to provide for the
following expenditure;

a. Web hosting b. Web design c. Software d. Hardware e. Office
Rental, lights & water f. Telephone g. Accounting fees h.
Advertising i. Manufacturing of product (if required) j.
Training courses

3. Domain Name

For your internet business you must register at least one
memorable domain name, i.e. not a freebie which will hurt your
search engine rankings and your credibility.

It is important spending some time researching keyword relevancy
when choosing your domain name as this can have a beneficial
effect as to how well your site ranks on some search engines.

4. Web Hosting

Ensure that your web host supplies you with the appropriate
amount of disk space for your site and bandwidth allowance for
your traffic.

For cost effectiveness you can start off with a small shared
plan and upgrade as required.

Eventually you may require a dedicated server to cater for your
internet traffic load.

5. Products and/or Services

If you can, choose products and services that you already have
an interest in and you are knowledgeable about.

This will encourage you to remain focused, driven and motivated
in promoting your business as well as being an authority in your
chosen field.

6. Website Design

The perception a site visitor has of your business will be
determined by the design of your site.

This means that regardless of how great your services and
products are, the site visitor will not get to find out, let
alone buy anything, if your site is shabbily designed and
portrays a poor image.

A good idea would be to ensure that the purchasing, sign-up and
newsletter processes are all automated.

7. Website Traffic

A great business concept and website will not do much for your
bottom line unless you have visitors flocking to your site.

Traffic is essential and traffic generation is a huge topic on
its own although you need to pay special attention to…

a. Optimizing your website in the design phase b. Ongoing
website optimization c. Link building - getting inbound links d.
Submit your site to the major search engines e. Submit your site
to relevant directories f. Advertising g. Newsletters h.
Distributing free content

8. Motivation

Your high tech site is up but nothing is happening!

This is the time when your drive and motivation is seriously put
to the test.

It is even more difficult when you are working on your own with
nobody to commiserate and strategize with.

However, if your business plan was detailed and thorough, keep
on referring to it and it will guide you through the hard times.

Finally, always remember what motivated and drove you in the
beginning and rekindle that inspiration.

Lanolin for Dummies - Benefits of Lanolin

Lanolin n.Fatty substance obtained from wool. [German : from Latin lana (wool) + oleum (oil)]

Wool oil, also referred to as ‘wool grease’ and ‘wool fat’, originates as a unique substance, similar to wax, secreted from special glands in sheep’s skin. This substance migrates to the wool and offers natural protection to the animal against harsh weather and climatic conditions.

Wool oil is washed from the sheep’s wool during the scouring (cleaning) process. This takes place after the sheep has been shorn (similar to us having a haircut), a completely harmless process that takes place once a year meaning this natural wool fibre a renewable resource.

The raw oil obtained through the scouring process is then refined into lanolin, an organic, non-toxic, non-hazardous, biodegradable product. Pure lanolin contains less than 3 parts per million of all impurities. The lanolin used in the production of our Lanocreme skin care range is considered to be more pure than most foods we consume. The chemical make up of lanolin is fascinating, demonstrating nature’s ability to create a protective coating which, to this day, chemists have been unable to duplicate in performance or composition.

Lanolin is entirely safe and included in all medical pharmacopoeias and the EEG Cosmetics Directive Second Amendment, which allows lanolin to be used freely in cosmetics without restriction.

Lanolin plays a major role in the production of our Lanocreme range of skin care products due to its well-deserved reputation of being the ultimate natural substance that gives a soothing and moisturizing effect when applied to the skin. Lanolin closely resembles the oil produced by our own oil glands and is easily absorbed by the outer, protective layer of our skin reducing excessive moisture loss and thereby restoring softness and elasticity.

Kim Bright has over 15 years experience with skin care products, having been involved in extensive market research throughout that time. She is currently employed as a marketing/customer services representative for Lanocorp Pacific Ltd who have been in the business of producing and distributing Lanolin based skin care products since 1987.
